FAQs
Is Vit-A-Like™ the same as retinol?
Vit-A-Like™ (Vigna Aconitifolia Seed Extract) is a retinol alternative. Retinol is often used as the benchmark for anti-ageing treatments, but it can be irritating on the skin meaning it isn’t great for people with sensitive skin. Vit-A-Like™ has proven effects similar to retinol but with a better tolerance for sensitive skin and much better stability. Vit-A-Like™, much like retinol, helps cell renewal and reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and this is why we’ve chosen to use this ingredient in our anti-ageing Vitamin A Eye Serum.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Our Vitamin A Anti-Ageing Eye Serum has been dermatologically approved for sensitive skin by an independent testing house. Everyone’s skin is different however, and as is the case when using any new product, we recommend doing a small patch test before using this to check that it suits your skin.
When should I do a patch test?
When using any new product we recommend doing a patch test first. See here for how to patch test.
