Where does the glycerin come from?
The glycerin in the Lucy Bee Soap isn’t actually added, it is created by the reaction of the base chemical on coconut oil. Saponification is the process where a fat is treated with an alkali which is the traditional way to produce soap. Coconut oil contains medium-chain triglycerides, such as lauric acid, capric acid, caprylic acid and myristic acid, and these are converted to glycerin.
This soap really is the best. I love it and use it every day it has a wonderful creamy lather no matter how small the bar of soap is. It never cracks or breaks.

My daughter has suffered with dry patches for a few years and no creams from the doctor would work. Have tried lots of different soaps over the years and this is one of the best. My husband also loves it so will continue to use this in the future when we have used up all our current other soaps. Its a little expensive but the quality is excellent.

I wouldn’t use any other soap now. This is my 10th or do bar and it last forever, lathers up into a beautiful creamy foam and doesn’t cause any sensitivities. Also so much better for the planet by reducing plastics…

I’ve not been a fan of a bar of soap since the old school soaps as a child which left your skin dry and tough! However I was convinced to try the Lucy Bee soap instead of shower gel and have been doing so for a good couple of years now; my skin is soft and hydrated and I wouldn’t go back to shower gel.

Lovely soap, I like the no-fragrance one. The shampoo bar seems a bit dry to use at first but it does lather up beautifully, and it's so good not to be transporting lorry-loads of what is essentially water about the planet. Well done Lucy Bee
