What’s the difference between antiperspirant and deodorant?
The purpose of antiperspirants are to reduce sweating (and therefore odour) and use aluminium-based compounds to temporarily plug pores to create a barrier to stop you sweating through your ducts.
Whereas deodorants allow your body to perform its natural sweating function, but the deodorant inhibits odour by preventing bacteria building up.
Deodorants are made to cover any smell with a fragrance to keep you smelling fresh.
What is micro silver?
It is a special form of pure silver. Micro silver in the formula helps prevent odour acting as an antibacterial and antimicrobial material. Bacteria on our skin is what produces body odours and so by having the silver in our deodorant it neutralises the bacteria, eliminating any unwanted smells.
Will the micro silver be absorbed into the body?
The micro silver is not absorbed into the body. It stays on the first layer of the skin (the epidermis) doing its job of preventing odour by neutralising the bacteria on your skin.
Why should I use a natural deodorant?
Some people tend to prefer natural deodorants as they can be kinder for skin, especially those with sensitive skin.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, our deodorant has been dermatologically approved for sensitive skin.
Does your deodorant contain aluminium?
No, we do not use any aluminium in the formulation of our Natural Deodorant.
Will there be a transition period when switching to your deodorant?
Changing your routine with what you use on your armpits can mean that you go through a transition period whilst your body adapts to new ingredients, in the same way that starting a new skincare routine can. Although not everyone may experience a transition period, we’re all different! There is no definite time frame for this transition, and depends on your skin, and your habits.
Is Natural Deodorant suitable to use in pregnancy?
Yes, Natural Deodorant is suitable to use in pregnancy. If you have any concerns we advise checking with your healthcare practitioner.
When/how often should I apply the deodorant?
Fresh out of the shower, clean pits are happy pits when paired with our deodorant. Feel good, smell good. As we all are different it depends on how much you sweat. For a medium sweat, you’ll find that once a day in the morning on clean skin will cover you. Use it before starting the day or any physical exercise.
Is it suitable for kids/teenagers?
Yes, our deodorant has been formulated for anyone and everyone to use.
Will it stain my clothes?
No, it won’t when using a thin layer of our deodorant. Say goodbye to those funny pit stains on your tops caused by antiperspirants!
Can I apply the deodorant after shaving?
Our deodorant is suitable for sensitive skin, and we know the skin on our armpits is very delicate and sensitive. When we shave it can scrape the skin and cause irritation and applying product onto this could lead to further irritation. If you find that applying our deodorant straight after shaving causes your armpits to become sore or irritated, it may be best for you to wait a few hours to let you skin calm down before applying.
How much deodorant should I use?
All you need is a thin layer of our deodorant for it to do its job. Avoid applying too much as it may not all sink into your skin which could mean it transfers to your clothes.
Does the Spatula come with the deodorant?
You have the option to either but Natural Deodorant and Spatula together or separately. This is so you don’t have to buy the spatula each time you purchase a new deodorant.

Yes, it does! Our deodorant melts into the skin with ease and doesn’t leave you with a sticky feeling after application.
Did you know that sweat doesn’t smell? It's when it comes into contact with the bacteria on our skin which is when the odour happens. Our deodorant contains micro silver which is a long term antibacterial and antimicrobial agent which neutralises bacteria, meaning that the smell can’t develop. We also use sodium bicarbonate which helps to protect and fight against odour too. Vitamin E to nourish the skin and kaolin clay helps to absorb sweat and neutralise body odour
We use coconut oil and shea butter, to nourish, soften and soothe delicate underarm skin. We are all different, and we all sweat different amounts, so it’s best to find out what works for you.
How can I get the most out of your natural deodorant?
As odour is caused by the mixing of sweat with the bacteria on our skin, it's important to make sure that you have regular showers or baths, and using a natural soap is one way to keep your skin clean. After intense sweating or after exercising, by having a shower and washing away the sweat from your skin, it means that the bacteria can’t mix with it to create an odour. After showering, you can apply your deodorant, just make sure that your armpits are dry. You can also reapply your deodorant, and use it as needed through the day.
Do you use micro plastic beads in your products?
No, we don’t use micro plastic beads in our products.
Micro plastic beads have been banned from the cosmetic industry since 2018.
Silica Dimethyl Silylate, which is in our Deodorant, is a grade of synthetic silica used to stabilise the product and to bring a unique sensorial profile. This is not from plastic origin at all and silica are not insoluble beads. A synthetic ingredient does not mean that it is from plastic.
