Where does the glycerin come from?

The glycerin in the Lucy Bee Soap isn’t actually added, it is created by the reaction of the base chemical on coconut oil. Saponification is the process where a fat is treated with an alkali which is the traditional way to produce soap. Coconut oil contains medium-chain triglycerides, such as lauric acid, capric acid, caprylic acid and myristic acid, and these are converted to glycerin.

Perfect for travelling

I've been travelling for 6 months, in this time I've only needed 2 of these bars! They last so long and lather so much from a tiny bit. I prefer the scented ones but for cost (long term backpacker so saving as much as possible!) this is perfect! Highly recommend! Also far better than the ones from Lush!

The creamiest bar of soap , takes my makeup off so easily without scrubbing my face , even my mascara ! Sometimes I don’t need to put moisturiser on afterwards as my face feels so soft and silky , it also lasts months !

Best moisturising soap

I love this soap, it’s so moisturising and doesn’t dry out your skin. I have eczema prone skin and this is perfect for it, especially since it has no perfume in it too. It lathers up so well and leaves your skin feeling soft and clean.

Great alternative to shower gel

I’ve not been a fan of a bar of soap since the old school soaps as a child which left your skin dry and tough! However I was convinced to try the Lucy Bee soap instead of shower gel and have been doing so for a good couple of years now; my skin is soft and hydrated and I wouldn’t go back to shower gel.
