How to Use

Exfoliate and moisturise dry areas 24 hours before tanning.
Pump mousse onto a tanning mitt. Apply in sweeping motions, using the guide colour to ensure even coverage.
Use sparingly on dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles and face.
Rinse after 2 hours for a medium tan or leave for 6–8 hours for a darker colour.
Maintain your tan by moisturising daily and exfoliating before reapplication.
For a smooth and streak-free application, apply with a self-tan mitt and kabuki blending brush.

How long does the tan last?

Your tan will typically last around 5 days, depending on your skin type, exfoliating routine, and natural cell turnover.

Will it wash off?

What are your top tips for tanning?

Exfoliate 24 hours before tanning. Moisturise the day before and just before applying tan to dry areas. Make sure your mitt and skin are dry before application. Moisturise daily after tanning to maintain an even fade.

What colour will I go?

The more mousse you use, the darker the tan will be. Erythrulose helps reduce orange tones, balancing out the colour for a natural glow.

So far so good!

Over recent years I’ve found other brands of tans have made my skin itch, but I’ve applied this Lucy Bee 3-4 times and no issues. It’s a lovely shade of colour too.

The best tan

I have used every brand you can think of, I have used professional spray tanning solutions as part of my job for years and nothing compares to the Lucy Bee tan. First of all the smell is really lovely it doesn’t have that strong fake tan smell, you don’t get loads of guide colour washing off the next day which means no transfer onto your bedsheets either. It’s such a lovely natural colour and I didn’t even apply it particularly carefully but the finish was perfect! I have loved every single Lucy Bee product i have tried and I’ve tried most of them!

I’m obsessed with the Lucy bee self tan mousse, it’s the perfect shade, the wear of the tan lasts well and looks smooth, never streaky or patchy, blends well, full coverage, also never made my skin break out like some tans can. As someone who’s quite pale the tan makes me feel fab, I’ve been using it for years and it’s always my go to, deffo recommend out of all the other tan brands I’ve used before.

Excellent Fake Tan

I have been using fake tan for years and have tried a variety of brands. I must say, As a return customer this fake tan is by far the best on the market. Lovely smell, Lovely shade and spreads evenly. The fact it can be used on pregnant women is also a bonus. Highly recommend it.

Smells tropical when applying but then gradually tirns into the fale tan smell.

Just another self tan

Colour is nice and easy to apply but I still do not like the smell, I cannot find a self tan that does not have that horrible biscuit smell. This also washes off a lot quicker than some ithers

Amazing self tan

Have used this for a couple of years now and it is the BEST self tan I have ever used. I moisturise my skin with the Lucy Bee hydra-bod body cream before applying the self tan and it goes on beautifully. You can see where it is going and if you have any areas that don’t look quite right, this goes when you shower it off. Lovely smell. People say what a lovely colour I have but never ask if it’s fake !!

Self tan

I bought the mousse as I’m trying to reduce the amount of chemicals used on my skin.
I have very pale skin with freckles and the mousse was tricky to apply and the colour was too dark & patchy. I left it on overnight though.
