FAQs

What is gua sha?

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese healing technique that involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool thought to improve circulation and promote healing. While it originated as a body treatment, facial gua shais a gentler version used primarily for cosmetic and relaxation benefits.

Why a stainless steel gua sha?

A stainless steel gua sha offer s smooth, consistent glide on the skin, whether face or body. Stainless steel naturally stays cool and can be refrigerated to enhance the cooling effect, if desired. The material is non-porous so won’t absorb the oil or serum.

Additionally, stainless steel is generally considered more ethically and environmentally sustainable than other materials, for example, jade or rose quartz.
