Please note: we have heavily discounted this product due to the fact that some pumps do not work. This wasn’t something which was flagged when tested on compatibility testing but has been brought to our attention after customer feedback. The packaging pump and aluminium bottle do not work with the formulation due to the rich consistency of this wonderful formulation.  

We have been trying to look at solutions for this and will be changing the packaging moving forward, but for now we have a lot of stock and as a small business it is not viable for us to throw it away. So, for complete transparency as always, we have reduced the cost of this product as it is loved by so many. If your pump is faulty, you can unscrew this and use it to get the product out as well as store the bottle upside down when getting towards the end of the product to help get the product out. 

There is always a challenge with packaging especially when trying to be as sustainable and ethical as possible and using what is available on the market. Big lessons have been learnt and we are always looking to improve.

TERRIBLY eco-unfriendly packaging with barely working pump

I bough two bottles of this body cream, knowing that the product itself didn't have any nasties. I was SO shocked when it arrived in a non-recyclable container with a pump that barely worked - leaving over half of the product in the bottle. So frustrating and ridiculous for a company that prides itself on being eco-conscious. Why not use a recyclable tube so at least you can get the product out and not have all this waste packaging! Truly shocking!!

Hi Leonie. We’re sorry to hear that our Hydra Body Cream didn’t meet your expectations. We chose an aluminum bottle for its sustainability, as it’s 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly, helping to conserve natural resources and reduce waste.

We’ve discounted this product because some pumps have not been functioning properly. This issue didn’t come up during compatibility testing but was highlighted through customer feedback. While we plan to change the packaging in the future, as a small business, it’s not feasible for us to discard our current stock. For transparency, we’ve reduced the price and added this information to the product page.

We know packaging can be challenging, especially when striving to be sustainable and ethical as possible, and we are looking at solutions to change the packaging to better suit the rich formula of the cream. Very softening

This cream is really nice to work with. My skin is not irritated at all, my eczema has improved. I bought it for the reduced £5 due to the fault with the bottle, which I think is a fair price for the amount of cream you get. I wouldn't pay the full price of £17.50 as its not worth that as the bottle doesn't last very long when using on the body every other day. But the cream is lovely and I'm happy with it. Well done on another great product. I hope you don't price yourself out the market in the future when you change bottles.

Absolute Bargain

I love this body cream and yes the bottles aren't the best but at £5 each, it's easy enough to decant into something else. This is rich, moisturising and just lovely!
