Hydrating Foam Face Wash FAQ

When should I use it in my skincare routine?

Use Hydrating Foam Face Wash as the first step in your skincare routine. It can be used daily am and pm, and is great after a workout. This product has been made to fit into your busy lifestyle without having to compromise on your skincare.

It can also be used as a second cleanse after the Reviving Cleansing Cream or Brilliant Balm.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Hydrating Foam Face Wash has been dermatologically approved for sensitive skin. As is the case when using any new product, we recommend doing a patch test first. See here for details.

Will this remove makeup?

Hydrating Foam Face Wash is formulated to clean the skin, rather than use as a makeup remover. While it will remove some makeup, we recommend our Reviving Cleansing Cream or Brilliant Balm to effectively remove makeup.

Is this suitable for use in pregnancy?

Yes, our Hydrating Foam Face Wash has been independently tested as safe to use in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Aren’t foam face washes usually drying on the skin?

Traditionally foam face washes can be drying on the skin as they strip the skin of its natural oils and moisture, and usually include ingredients like SLS. Our Foam Face Wash does not contain any SLS. It contains ingredients like ginseng, natural betaine, glycerin and calendula to help hydrate and lock moisture into the skin, as well as strengthen the skin barrier. After using, your skin will feel refreshed and clean.

What are the key ingredients in the Hydrating Face Wash

Ginseng: moisturising and boosts hydration helping to improve skin elasticity and the appearance of fine lines.

Rose Flower Water: soothes, calms and helps to protect the skin.

Natural Betaine: helps to keep your skin hydrated. Retains skin moisture. Strengthen the skin barrier & protects the skin against irritation

Calendula: soothes and moisturises dry and chapped skin

Glycerin: Skin conditioning and protecting, it is a humectant which helps to retain moisture in the skin, preventing moisture loss and the skin drying out, keeping your skin hydrated

How often should I use the Hydrating Foam Face Wash?

It’s formulated to be used daily both morning and evening, or whenever you feel your face needs a wash

How do I use the Hydrating Face Wash?

Simply shake well before use. Massage 1-2 pumps of the luxurious foam onto damp skin, work into the face and rinse away with water.

Why did you create this product, you already have the Brilliant Balm and Reviving Cleansing Cream?

From Lucy: The aim with this product was to formulate something which was suitable for all skin types and quick and easy to use in everyday life without compromising on how the skin felt while using and afterwards – we wanted this to be effective, kind and your everyday must-have. Something I always swear by is cleansing daily, I really do think this is one of the key things you can do in making your skin look more youthful.

What's the difference between the Reviving Cleansing Cream and Hydrating Foam Face Wash?

The two products are both very different, our Reviving Cleansing Cream is a cream cleanser which you remove with a muslin cloth. The Face Wash is a foam face wash which you wash off with just water and doesn’t require a muslin cloth.

Reviving Cleansing Cream – removes makeup, dirt, grime SPF, use as first part of your cleansing routine

Face Wash – use on its own if wearing little to no make-up, or as the second cleanse (after Brilliant Balm or Reviving Cleansing Cream), removes dirt grime, and traces of makeup etc. Great in morning when waking, or after gym, etc.

Reviving Cleansing Cream  - Hydrates and soothes, reduces redness, evens skin tone, protects skin from environmental stress, nourishing, removes makeup & daily impurities. Key Ingredients: Turmeric, hyaluronic acid, bisabolol, vitamin E

Hydrating Foam Face Wash  - Boosts hydration & retains skin moisture, improves skin elasticity, soothes and calms, strengthens skin barrier & protects against irritation, cleanses the skin from daily impurities. Key Ingredients: Ginseng, rose flower water, calendula, natural betaine, glycerin.
