Sacha Inchi Oil for Beauty

Our Starseed Omega Oil has a very light, smooth and nutty flavour and it’s great for bones and joints and I love taking it straight from the spoon every morning, or if you prefer, you can use it in foods.

But did you know, this vegan oil is also great for your skin?
As much as I love using my number 1 Coconut Oil on my skin, sometimes I find it needs a change. Step in our Starseed Omega Oil, which is 100% sacha inchi oil, to use in my beauty regime.

Sacha inchi oil:

  • contains vitamin A & E, which are great for skin and hair
  • helps with skin tone
  • reduces the appearance of scarring and wrinkles
  • is very nourishing, soothing and hydrating

The antioxidants help to fight free radical damage. I’ve been using this as a serum each day with my usual moisturiser and love how my skin is feeling. Of course, we’re all different, so use this as much or as little to suit your skin.

Sacha Inchi is also becoming even more popular as an oil in hair products. As you can see in the above video, I go over my eyebrows and in the evening my lashes, to nourish and hydrate the hair follicles.

Just one thing to note, it pours out of the bottle quite fast, so be careful when pouring it for skincare!
